How to Stretch Your Makeup Budget

The vast majority of women would certainly like to know simple and easy ways to stretch their beauty and makeup budget or make products last longer. Here are
some ideas to get started.

Lipstick
Many women own a few shimmery lipsticks they use regularly to complete their look. What happens when the lipstick is almost gone? Don't toss it out. Scoop out the remaining lipstick and place it in a small jar. Add lip balm, mix together, and you have a great lip gloss to use for several more weeks.

Hair Spray
Use a pump hair spray? Once the spray is less than half full open the top and fill with water. Use as usual.

Hair Gloss
Those who use liquid hair gloss in pump bottles can also add water to the mix once it is less than half full. Shake after adding water and use as usual.

Liquid Makeup
Once liquid makeup is almost gone it tends to dry up. Add water to water based makeup. Shake well. And continue to use as usual.

Liquid Makeup2
If the makeup is oil based add a few drops of facial moisturizer. Shake well and use as normal.

Powder Makeup
Add a few shakes of baking soda to loose face powder. Mix together and use normally. Makes skin look silky smooth.

Shampoo
Once that shampoo starts to get low add water. That's right add water. Adding water is the perfect way to stretch that shampoo and make it last longer. Works especially good with really creamy shampoo.

Conditioner
Add a bit of water to your conditioner to make it last longer. Just don't get too carried away.

Facial Moisturizers
Add a few drops of water to your favorite facial moisturizer to make it last a bit longer. Shake well and use.

Body Lotion
Add a few drops of baby oil, or olive oil to the body lotion. Shake briskly and use. Makes it thick and creamy plus last much longer.

Makeup Remover
Out of makeup remover? Grab a box of baby wipes. Makes an excellent and low cost makeup remover. Most have added moisturizers that wipe away makeup, dirt, flakes, mascara.
